    Working with Bappenas to Accelerate the Achievement of SDGs

    Tanoto Foundation, an independent family philanthropy organisation founded by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto in 1981, collaborated with National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and UNDP to establish SDG Academy Indonesia. This is the first institution of its kind in Indonesia that aims to increase the capacity of actors and stakeholders in achieving SDGs such as individuals from the government, private sector, education, and others.

    Through TELADAN program, Tanoto Foundation, an independent family philanthropy organisation founded by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto in 1981, supports Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education by developing leaders in higher education environments who will make a positive impact in communities. Tanoto Foundation also running Tanoto Student Research Awards as part of leadership development program to encourage student to undertake research that directly adress community needs.

    Tanoto Foundation, an independent family philanthropy organisation founded by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto in 1981, supports the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture in an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Through PINTAR program, Tanoto Foundation intends to enhance education ecosystems through capacity building in school management and leadership, teacher enhancement, parental education and community participation.
