About SIGAP
Strengthening Indonesia’s Early Generation by Accelerating Potential (SIGAP) is a Tanoto Foundation initiative focused on preparing Indonesia’s future generations by ensuring that all children are developmentally on track and school ready.
By collaborating with parents, teachers, local government, and international aid organizations on stunting prevention, parenting and caregiving, SIGAP is working to ensure the children in Indonesia can reach their full potential.
SIGAP partners with organizations such as the World Bank, UNICEF, and USAID to leverage global expertise and deliver impactful results at the local level.
Key Beneficiaries
0-6 years old
SIGAP operates through two key programs:

Our Goals

Stunting prevalence
reduction

Improvement of the quality of caregiving

Improvement of access & quality of early childhood services
SIGAP acts as the catalyst for partnerships at the national, sub-national and community level. We prioritize long-term solutions, so positive impact can be sustained long after initial intervention.
To achieve this, we prioritize activities that build awareness and strengthen the capabilities of governments, frontline workers, and local communities. Whether the focus is on stunting prevention, education, or parenting, SIGAP is committed to laying the foundation for sustainable and meaningful development in Indonesia.
